Graham Kelly
In 1986, Graham Kelly graduated with a BSc Honours Degree in Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh. This proved a surprisingly good preparation for his first job in advertising - copywriter for a Dutch B2B agency specialising in the chemicals industry.
Realising that doing ads for consumers was a bit more fun than writing for chemical engineers, Graham embarked on a career in mainstream advertising.
Graham progressed to Executive Creative Director at some of the world’s leading creative agencies, including: Ogilvy, Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Isobar, BBH and TBWA. Brands under Graham’s stewardship have included: Apple, BMW, Coke, Guinness, IBM, Levis, Singapore Airlines, The Economist and Vespa.
Graham has won lots of shiny awards at the world’s most prestigious advertising shows. These include: Clio, Cannes, Effies, One Show, and D&AD. Highlights include winning Asia’s first Cannes Cyber Lion and Asia’s first Gold Global Effie. A firm believer in marrying data with creativity, he has achieved Google Certification in Advanced Analytics.
Graham is a regular speaker at major advertising festivals around the world. One of his favourites was a speech on creativity in Beijing’s Great Hall of the People.
